Backup System Overview

The backup system provides comprehensive data protection with automated scheduling, cloud storage options, and easy restore capabilities.

Creating Backup Schedules

To set up automated backups:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Backups > Schedules
  2. Click 'Create Schedule'
  3. Choose backup frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
  4. Select data modules to include
  5. Configure retention policies

Storage Providers

Connect cloud storage providers for offsite backup storage:

  • Amazon S3
  • Google Cloud Storage
  • Dropbox Business
  • Local server storage

Manual Backups

Create immediate backups before major changes or data imports by clicking 'Create Backup' and selecting the modules to include.

Restoring Data

Restore specific modules or complete datasets from any backup point with verification and progress tracking.

Backup Verification

Automatically verify backup integrity and receive notifications about backup status and any issues.
